After scoring one goal against Michigan last Thursday, interim head coach Dennis Williams has made some changes to the lines for tonights rematch with the Wolverines.
Headlining the changes at forward, sophomores Cameron Sinclair and James McIntosh will be replaced in the lineup by freshman Nathan Pageau and Jerry Freismuth. Pageau with be slotted on the top line with David Solway and Tommy Dee, while Freismuth with center the fourth line with Wade Finegan and Brennas Vargas. Also, James Perkin will center the second line with Tomas Petruska and Jordan Samuels-Thomas, while Josh Boyd has been moved to the third line with Kai Kantola and Marc Rodriguez.
On defense, Reed Rushing will be replaced in the lineup by Ian Ruel, who missed Thursday's game with an illness.
BG will once again have to deal with Michigan's powerful top line of Carl Hagelin, Matt Rust, and Kevin Lynch. Hagelin is averaging just over a point per game this season, with 32 points--13 goals, 19 assists--in 30 games, while Lynch had 26 points--10 goals 16 assists--in 30 games.
While starting goalies for the game have not been announced, it can be assumed that Bryan Hogan will be in net for Michigan. He has started every game this season, while posting an impressive 2.26 goals-against average and a .902 save percent. Thursday against BG, he stopped 12-13 shots.
For BG, Nick Eno played great in Thursday's game, stopping 28-30 shots. Backup Andrew Hammond has not seen the ice since January 15 against Northern Michigan, which was also his last start. In that game he gave up five goals in just over a period and a half of play.
